About me

I’m Alberto Mendez and I live in the upper Blue Mountains of NSW, Australia.

I have always been interested in photography but in the past it was often restricted to those times when travelling to new and exotic places. I originally conceived of this site to be a repository for overseas travel photos.

Since retiring in late 2020 I have had a lot more time to do photography and focus on seeking inspiration closer to home. This expanded the scope of the site, with the bulk of the images in Galleries being from this period.
